The winning Snap-on products include the Snap-on(R) Domestic Transmission Fast-Track(R) Troubleshooter Software; Snap-on(R) Super Deluxe Graphing Scanner(TM); and the Snap-on(R) Vantage(R) Graphing Multimeter and Diagnostic Database.
"It's quite an honor to be the only company recognized with three Top 10 Tools awards in the same year," said Mary Beth Siddons, vice president - marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics. "The recognition is particularly important to us because it comes directly from Transmission Digest readers who use our tools and resources everyday. We feel these awards testify to our commitment to providing access to an unmatched depth of expert information and more up- to-date information in easy-to-use, expandable products."
The 2003 "Top Ten Tools" contest acknowledges automotive aftermarket companies with the most groundbreaking, useful and reliable tools and equipment as judged by Transmission Digest's more than 16,000 readers. Ballots were cast among the publication's readers in October 2002 and award winners were announced in the February 2003 issue of the magazine. Readers voted based on their own experience and knowledge about the products.
Snap-on and other award recipients will be honored by the publication, March 28 during a luncheon at "Showpower," a national transmission and under- car exposition held this year in Charlotte, N.C. Winners of the competition will be provided with a special display area at the exposition to show their tools or equipment. They will also receive a Top 10 Tools blue-ribbon logo to display with their award-winning products.
