Snap-on To Webcast Both First Quarter Conference Call and Annual Shareholder Meeting Live Via The Internet

KENOSHA, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 2004--Snap-on Incorporated (NYSE: SNA) announced today that it will webcast its first quarter earnings conference call, as well as its 2004 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, live via the Internet on Thursday, April 22.

Snap-on expects to release 2004 first quarter financial results before the market opens on April 22. A live discussion of the release, with accompanying slides, can be accessed on the Snap-on Web site beginning at approximately 10:30 a.m. EDT that same morning. The 2004 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be webcast on the Snap-on site beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT on April 22. The archived presentations will also be available on the Snap-on Web site for a period of time following the live webcasts.
